The 25-year-old Navajo woman had planned to deliver her baby at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center but is now devising a new plan after learning the hospital shut down its birthing center. She says hospital staff recommended she deliver her baby at the Tuba City Regional Health Care, another Indian Health Service facility more than 200 miles away.
