Tuba City Unified School District #15 breaks ground on a new digital school building that has been in the design phase for the past few years. The district has partnered with Stanford University on the technology focused design that will also incorporate cultural and tribal language considerations in its K-5 student programs. Students, Superintendent Dr. Harold G. Begay, Stanford University officials, district board members and Hopi and Navajo cultural elders were all on hand June 26 for the historic shovel turning event.
