MOENKOPI, Ariz. - It was long overdue but still a memorable day for the family of Ssgt. Byron L. Tsingine Sr., originally from Coppermine, Arizona.Navajo Nation President Ben Shelly, Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick, Senator Albert Hale, Navajo-Hopi Honor Riders and Eunice Begay Tsingine with the Western Agency Veterans Office honored Tsingine at the Western Navajo Tuba City Veterans Center for his service as an Alamo Scout during World War II.
