Shelly agrees to stop horse round up on Navajo Reservation
Horse roundups to continue until Memorandum of Understanding is finalized between administration and horse advocates

Navajo Nation President Ben Shelly and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson reached an agreement in principle about two weeks ago in which the Navajo Nation would suspend horse roundups and halt the sale of Navajo horses to horse processing plants.
