Reading Counts is a school wide program at Holbrook High School (HHS) that encourages students to read for enjoyment as well as to improve their reading comprehension skills. Students are encouraged to read books that they find enjoyable in order to allow them to understand the pleasure that can come from reading a great book - whether it be a classic or a new contemporary saga. Creating lifelong learners, and readers, is the goal of Reading Counts and it is working at HHS! Garrick read 1,247,694 words! Ramon read 1,329,836 words! Aarick read 1,413,817 words! Angelina read 1,825,787 words! Sylvester read 3,976,231 words!!
