ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Navajo Technical College (NTC) was quite successful at the SkillsUSA state competition, showcasing their talents and abilities against 800 students from schools across the state of New Mexico from March 29-31.During the competition, students worked against the clock and each other proving their expertise in occupations such as medical and nursing assistance, electronics and technology, automotive, and culinary arts to name a few. NTC placed 23 medalists in the various skill competitions, while at the same time qualifying 18 students in 11 categories for the SkillsUSA national competition in Kansas City, Mo. this summer.
