In a photo taken in 2010 (above), the Y-shaped water tank at Hotevilla Village still stood strong and majestically at the entrance to Hotevilla Village. At left, on final demolition day, dozens of Hopi residents and students from the HBCS stood by as they watch the 53-year-old water tank come crashing to the ground, ending an era of a high visibility landmark for both Hopi and Navajo communities.
