WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. - Navajo Nation Council Speaker Pro Tem Jonathan Nez, members of the 22nd Navajo Nation Council, Navajo Nation President Ben Shelly and Chief Justice Herb Yazzie met Jan. 12 to discuss unity. Plans for chapter issues, the budget, and establishing effective and efficient communication between the three branches were discussed by tribal leaders. All three deemed communication as a very important aspect to continue being effective leaders of the Navajo people.
