Art and music are creative outlets and stimuli for other portions of our brains that support and nurture other critical areas of complex learning. The visual and performing art programs in the TC District are extremely important to a well rounded student educational success experience and each year, students in the art program at Tuba City High continue to enter and win student art awards with the support and guidance of stellar award winning, Hopi artist and teacher Richard Dawavendewa.
