SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY-Native American filmmakers descended on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community for 10 days as they taught Salt River youth how to make films. It was part of the traveling American Indian Film Festival, as they showed films several nights during their stay. The American Indian Film Institute, which is based in San Francisco, travels to various locations working with teens to develop film projects.
