KAYENTA-Mile Post 398, the first feature film written, directed and produced by internationally-acclaimed filmmakers Shonie and Andee De La Rosa-made its world premiere in Kayenta Jan. 6. The packed auditorium of Monument Valley High School was near capacity with almost 400 people. The film is a look into a life of a fictional reservation character in his early to mid-thirties. Cloyd, who is living in Kayenta, is married with a young son and battles with alcoholism and drug abuse.
