Bulldogs basketball schedules set for upcoming season
WINSLOW, Ariz. — The Winslow Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs will hold scrimmages Nov. 19 for the boys and Nov. 22 for the girls, both in the Phoenix area.
The Bulldogs play Raymond Kellis and Copper Canyon at Raymond Kellis High School in Glendale. The Lady Bulldogs play Alhambra at Alhambra High School in Phoenix.
Both teams start their basketball seasons against the Flagstaff Eagles and Lady Eagles. The Lady Bulldogs are in Flagstaff, while the boys are at home in Winslow Nov. 26. Both teams are at Page on Dec. 3.
The Bulldogs are in the Sedona Scorpion Invitational Tournament in Sedona Dec. 5-7.
Both Winslow teams will be in the Pepsi Invitational Tournament in Flagstaff Dec. 12 – 14.
Both teams are at Tuba City Dec. 18, host Chile Dec. 19, are at Ganado Dec. 23 and at Window Rock Dec. 28.
Lady Bulldogs
The Lady Bulldogs will be in a tournament Jan 2-4 at Chandler Prep Academy in Chandler.
The boys host American Leadership Academy Jan. 3 with only a varsity game at 6 p.m.
Both teams are to be at Tuba City Jan. 9. The Lady Bulldogs will host Canyon View Jan. 10. Both boys and girls host Show Low Jan. 14 and Holbrook Jan. 17 and go to Blue Ridge Jan. 21. Both host Payson Jan. 24, Monument Valley Jan. 25 and Snowflake Jan. 28. The January part of the schedule ends with both teams at Show Low Jan 31.
Both teams host Holbrook Feb. 4 and Blue Ridge Feb. 7. The last games of the regular season are at Payson Feb. 11 and Snowflake Feb. Feb. 14. Both teams expect to be in the playoffs.
