Winslow High School GEAR Up students stand outside Leupp Family Farms Sept. 29. The students went on a service learning trip to the farm and learned about sustainable organic farming and techniques. Students learned about traditional techniques merged with modern practices to create the best farming of both worlds. Students shucked corn for a family, picked squash and chilies. Students also learned about many future service needs through volunteering at Leupp Family Farms.
