PRESCOTT, Ariz. - Prescott College will play host to a Preview Day on Nov. 9 to introduce prospective students and families to all Prescott College programs-Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate.
Having just launched a major tuition and financial aid initiative, The Prescott Plan: Value, Honesty and Simplicity, which deals with the spiraling upward cost of private college education and the complexity around financial aid, the college is eager to discuss the details. Many scholarships are available and all awards are open to Dream Act eligible students.
With all programs based in the liberal arts, the environment and social justice, Prescott College's small class sizes and award-winning experiential and practical based learning approach offers an option otherwise not available in Arizona or much of the nation.
The college offers programs in a wide variety of disciplines and the ability to construct a personal course of study. Prescott College offers unique and traditional undergraduate degrees with multiple degree completion options, (resident and limited residency) including life experience credit, graduate degrees in disciplines such as social justice and human rights, education, humanities, counseling psychology and a Ph.D. in sustainability education.
The preview day is from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and includes introductions, tours, meeting with faculty, students and staff including appointments with financial aid, tours and a free lunch.
Prescott College is located at 220 Grove Ave. in Prescott with additional centers in Tucson and Kino Bay, Mexico. Registration information is available at www.prescott.edu or at (928) 350-2100.
