Meredith Potts, executive director of Flagstaff International Relief Effort (FIRE), presents Winslow Rotary with five boxes of new handmade wool winter clothing items. Rotary will give the approximately 450 scarves, mittens and hats to the Hopi Tribe for distribution. FIRE also works in Mongolia to reduce the rate of infection from insufficient hygiene methods in clinics. A previous FIRE effort provided warm winter clothing items to people there as well. FIRE offered remaining winter clothes to Winslow Rotary for its fledging Hopi Outreach program.
