Close to 30 Brownies and Daisies are Winslow's latest "Pride of Winslow Super Stars." The girls, along with their leaders, parents, Winslow Police Chief Steve Garnett and Winslow Fire Chief James Hernandez, cleaned an approximate two-acre parcel and filled more than forty bags of garbage during an April 4 cleanup. The city of Winslow recently formed the Pride of Winslow Beautification Committee to enhance the city of Winslow. Lawrence and Tess Kenna are the point people for this effort. The project will encourage state, county, city and local citizens to help make Winslow an attractive town for locals and tourists. Photo/Todd Roth
