Monument Valley, Blue Ridge, Show Low remain undefeated

NORTHERN ARIZONA - The Blue Ridge Yellowjackets and the Show Low Cougars are two northern Arizona area teams expected to be among the leaders in a march toward a state championship. They are both undefeated at 5-0 midway thought the season. The Monument Valley Mustangs are also 5-0 and a bit of a surprise. The Winslow Bulldogs and the Coconino Panthers are both 4-1 and coming off victories.

Blue Ridge rolled over the Holbrook Roadrunners 54-0 at Holbrook on Friday. The Yellowjackets will play the St. Johns Redskins at Pinetop this Friday. St. Johns lost to the Snowflake Lobos 21-14 at St. Johns on Friday.

Show Low got a surprisingly easy 48-6 win over the Payson Longhorns at Payson on Friday. The Cougars will host the Holbrook Roadrunners this Friday.

The Monument Valley Mustangs got a 20-14 win over the Page Sand Devils at Page on Friday. Monument Valley will play the Tuba City Warriors at Tuba City this Friday. Tuba City was 2-2 going into Friday's game with the Flagstaff Eagles in Flagstaff. No score was available from that game at press time.

The Winslow Bulldogs easily rolled over the Chinle Wildcats 53-7 at Winslow on Friday. The Bulldogs have a tough test this Friday when they host the Snowflake Lobos. The Lobos defeated the St. Johns Redskins 21-14 at St. Johns on Friday.

The Coconino Panthers defeated Dysart 14-7 at Dysart on Friday. Coconino will play the Mingus Marauders at Flagstaff this Friday.

The Window Rock Scouts defeated the Ganado Hornets 48-0 t Window Rock on Friday to improve to 3-2 for the season. The Scouts will play the Chinle Wildcats at Chinle this Friday.

The Hopi Bruins defeated the Many Farms Lobos 61-0 at Polacca on Friday. The Bruins will host the Greyhills Academy Knights this Friday.
