Holbrook High School welding and art students do well at EAC Skills Competition

THATCHER, Ariz. - Holbrook High School (HHS) students traveled to Thatcher on April 17 to compete in the EAC Skills Day, which hosted 23 schools from throughout Arizona. In the welding competition, Jamerrino White placed first in oxy-fuel welding and second in MIG welding; Troy McCraith placed second in arc welding; and Dakota Lester placed third in TIG welding.

In art, Lyle Kinlicheenie received a "Best of Show" award in pen drawing and finished second in pastel and third in graffiti. Also representing HHS were Tamisha Yazzie and Tyler Tisi who competed in the welding competition and Katie Johnson and Random Skevington who competed in the computer aided drafting competition.
