Photo: Celebrating Native Americans

Hopi drummers and singers perform at Native American Appreciation Days July 20-21 in Winslow. The celebration lasted from 1 p.m. until late in the evening both days. Powwow dancers, Hopi dancers, flute music, arts and crafts and food vendors were gracious in welcoming the visitors and spectators. After 9 p.m. there was country western music by "Still Reserve" and a dance contest. Todd Roth/NHO
