THE GAP, Ariz.-Tsinaabaas Habitiin Elementary School of the Gap area is moving onward a significant year of learning with a lot of curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities in line under the leadership of Ms. Sanora Isaac, Principal of THES. The monthly activities, which started since September, like Walk-for-a-Cause, School-Community Potluck, Open Gym, carnivals and bazaars were a big success with the active involvement and participation of parents and teachers. The winners are Taishon Little of kindergarten, Kyle Secody of first grade, Dharsheena Yazzie of second grade and Geronie Cleigh Pesodas of third grade. The winners of the fourth grade, who will compete for the district-wide competition, are Ernest Sellers Jr. (first place), Jade Johnson (second place), and Shania Homer (third place).
