Ribbon cutting ceremony for completion of new traffic signals
Officials gather Sept. 14 for a ribbon cutting for new traffic signals on Williamson Avenue and Second and Third streets including connecting Williamson and the BNSF State Route 87 underpass. City officials, Valentine Construction and ADOT participants are pictured from left to right - Mayor Boyd, Councilman Cake, Councilwoman Marsha Jurgens, City Administrator Jim Ferguson, Councilman Harold Soehner, Larry Yazzie, Ed Zinker, Dick Young, Carl Ericksen, Lynn Johnson, Mike Sick and Rod Wigman. The project took 85 working days, began May 23 and ended Sept. 9 and cost one million dollars."
