Tuba City Hospital Announces Board Members for New Term

TUBA CITY Ariz,-Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) selected three returning members to its board of directors, Esther Tsinigine of Coppermine Chapter; Geraldine Goldtooth of Tuba City Chapter; and Grey Farrell, Jr. of Tonalea Chapter at its monthly meeting.

TCRHCC is governed by a community-based Board of Directors, representing eight Navajo Chapters (Bodaway/Gap, Cameron, Coalmine, Coppermine, Kaibeto, LeChee, Tonalea and Tuba City) the Moenkopi Village (Hopi Tribe) and the San Juan Southern Paiutes.

"We are grateful to have Esther, Geraldine, and Grey join the Board again at such an important juncture. Their experience and business acumen will help to keep guiding us as we navigate the challenges and opportunities in healthcare on Western Navajo, Hopi and neighboring communities," said Joe Engelken, Tuba City Hospital's CEO.

The members are committed to helping TCRHCC Health System deliver quality medical care to all residents of the Western Navajo Nation as a community-based integrated health system.

Each Board of Director is accessible and available to their community members. This is the core principle of TCRHCC's self-governance: to put health care in the hands of the communities it serves.

The Bodaway Gap Board position and the San Juan Southern Paiute board position under TCRHCC Board of Director are still open and the Board Selection Committee is following up. If you are interested in applying for the current term, contact John Pemberton at 928-283-2432, ext 5.
