Maintenance work starting on SR 264, US 191 and US 160

The Arizona Department of Transportation is doing maintenance work on State Route 264, US 191 and US 160 . Work crews will be applying a coating of rejuvenating oil to the roadway surface to preserve the pavement. The following schedule shows the locations and dates the work will be performed -

• Now through tomorrow SR 264 from east of Ganado through Window Rock to the state line.

• May 24-26: 20 miles of US 191 beginning 14 miles north of Chinle.

• June 6-9: 20 miles of SR 264 west of Second Mesa.

• June 20-21: SR 264 from Second Mesa east for seven miles.

• June 27-30: US 160 between Mexican Water and Red Mesa.

Work is scheduled to take place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Crews will direct vehicles through the work zone. Drivers should expect delays of up to 30 minutes and are advised to plan ahead. ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zones with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
