How body shape relates to heart health

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - In celebration of American Heart Month, Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC) and the Heart and Vascular Center of Northern Arizona (HVCNA) are hosting a lecture entitled "What Your Jeans Tell About You."

Interventional Cardiologist Omar Wani, M.D., will lecture on how your body shape can relate to heart health. The event will include jeans modeling and a jeans consultation with the denim experts from Dillard's.

This fun, free event will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Feb. 17 in the Dillard's Ladies Wear Department in the Flagstaff Mall.

The Heart and Vascular Center of Northern Arizona (HVCNA) is a partnership between Flagstaff Medical Center and Verde Valley Medical Center. It combines physician office practices with extensive hospital-based services including diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures and open heart surgery. HVCNA offices are located in Flagstaff, Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde and Winslow.
