Learn about Navajo uses of Native plants at the Arb

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - The Arboretum is offering Ethnobotany programs Thursday afternoons at 4 p.m. from July 15 through Aug. 19. Visitors can join Maybelle Little (shown above giving a tour) in the Herb Garden to learn about the Navajo uses of native plants.

This program receives generous support from The Arizona Ethonobotanical Research Association. It is free to visitors with regular admission. For more information, please visit www.thearb.org.

The Arboretum is a botanical garden, research center, and nature preserve dedicated to educating the public about the plants and plant communities of the Colorado Plateau. It is located four miles south of Route 66 on scenic Woody Mountain Road in west Flagstaff. The Arboretum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., April through October.
