WINSLOW, Ariz. - The Winslow Bulldogs, Payson Longhorns, Blue Ridge Yellowjackets and Snowflake Lobos all advanced to semi-final games on Saturday with wins on Friday at the Cake Car Company Shootout Tournament.
The Winslow Bulldogs defeated the Sedona Red Rock Scorpions 68-54 in a second round game on Friday. The win allowed the Bulldogs to advance in the winners' bracket and left them with a 3-2 record for the season. Kraig Shirley with 23 points and Tyler Williams with 23 paced the Bulldogs.

46-45 in overtime to advance. The Longhorns were paced by Josh Oakley with 14 points.
The Snowflake Lobos easily bested San Tan Foothills 68-42 to advance to the semi-finals. The Lobos had Michael Bonham within 18 points and Chase Walden with 16 in double figures.
Blue Ridge nipped the Ganado Hornets 46-43 to advance to the semi-finals. Luke Service led the Yellowjackets with 20 points but Marcus Begay of Ganado was the game high scorer with 27 points.
A loser's bracket winner was the Greyhills Knights over the Chino Valley Cougars 53-45. Tyler Bancroft paced the Knights with 20 points while Brandon Whiterock added 15.
Another loser's bracket winner was the Hopi Bruins by a single point 64-63 over the Tuba City Warriors. Myles Thomas paced Hopi with 17 points but Kant Tallsalt of Tuba City was game high scorer with 23 points.
In the final losers' bracket game on Friday, the Joseph City Wildcats topped the Pinon Eagles 62-51. Jacob Field led the way with a game high 20 points for the Wildcats. A huge fourth quarter rally by the Wildcats erased a significant Eagle lead.
