Sixth Annual High Desert Piecemakers Guild Quilt Show

WINSLOW, Ariz. - The Sixth Annual High Desert Piecemakers Guild Quilt Show will take place this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 2 and 3, at the Snow Drift Art Space, located at 210 W. Second St.

The event is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days and will display finely designed quilts which will be judged in a number of different categories, including Best Hand Quilting, Best Machine Quilting, Best Appliqué and Best Use of Color. Other honors will include several Special Awards, Guild Awards for first, second and third place and a number of Viewers Choice awards, including Most Humorous, Best of Show, and Most Wanted to Take Home.

A raffle will take place at this event. Raffle items include a king size quilt, a lap quilt, a wall hanging and two table runners. Admission is $1 per person or six for $5.
