CellOne welcomes Barry Thomas as new Chief Operations Officer

SHOW LOW, Ariz. - As CellularOne continues its commitment to the Navajo Nation market, they are pleased to introduce C. Barry Thomas, who has been named Chief Operations Officer. Barry's professional career has spanned 22 years in the wireless industry, most notably with U.S. West Cellular, Bell Atlantic Mobile and T-Mobile.

As a lifelong resident of Arizona, Barry attended Mesa High School and later graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Business Communication.

He brings a wealth of industry knowledge, experience, and management strength. He, along with all of the employees, will strive to continue providing the highest quality of wireless service in this market.

Founded in 1994 in Show Low, CellularOne has grown from five employees and 1,200 customers to over 200 employees and 80,000 subscribers. CellularOne has gained market share in the last 15 years, providing millions of dollars in service and equipment upgrades, including expanded coverage throughout northern Arizona and New Mexico.

Most recently, CellularOne built 10 new digital towers and invested in expansions to improve wireless coverage and service in our home coverage area.
