White Cone High seniors win scholarships

Full tuition scholarships were awarded to four area high school seniors for winning the Best of Show honors in the 22nd Annual Juried High School Art Show sponsored by Northland Pioneer College. The winners included three from White Cone High School (WCHS). The winner of the commercial art award was Damien D. Jim, who showcased his talent with a colorfully complex graphic image. Jim won a one-year tuition scholarship to Northland Pioneer College. Other WCHS winners included: Bradley Bia, who won second place in the two-dimensional drawing category and Shane Chee, who won first place in the two-dimensional drawing category.
