The Nackard Companies celebrate 75 years by contributing $25,000
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - The Nackard Companies, founded by Fred Nackard, recently celebrated 75 years of serving northern Arizona and other rural Arizona counties. In an effort to continue the community outreach core to the company's values, The Nackard Companies pledged $25,000 to the Museum of Northern Arizona's Endowment Fund. The gift will benefit MNA's endowment fund and build and maintain a sustainable financial base for the museum's long-term financial stability.
"The Museum of Northern Arizona greatly appreciates this substantial contribution from The Nackard Companies and the Monica Heaney Nackard Foundation," said MNA Director Robert Breunig. "Our endowment fund is critical to the long-term success of the Museum ... Endowment funds rely on the generosity of individual and business contributions. We are grateful to all our dedicated financial supporters and volunteers."
The Nackard Companies include Fred Nackard Wholesale Beverage Company, a beer and wine distribution company; Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Flagstaff; and Hi-Line Vending.
The Nackard Companies have a long history of supporting and giving back to the communities they serve, reaching into most rural Arizona counties. The philosophy of community support and philanthropy began with founder Fred Nackard. The Nackard Companies core values say 'We believe you need to provide quality products, back them with the best service possible, hire and train the right people, and always give back to those communities that support us.'
The Monica Heaney Nackard Foundation, named in honor of Patrick Nackard's mother, is the philanthropic arm of the The Nackard Companies.
"We appreciate and value what the Museum of Northern Arizona brings to the Flagstaff community and to Northern Arizona," said Patrick Nackard, The Nackard Companies president. "We value our community partnerships and are pleased to be in a position to help build the museum's endowment fund. Giving back to the communities we serve is important to us."
