Staff and students at CollegeAmerica held a library dedication ceremony last week to officially name their library the "Er Denezpi Memorial Library" to commemorate and remember Er Denezpi, who began his classes at CollegeAmerica in July 2008 and passed away Dec. 29, 2008. He immediately became an integral part of campus with his incredible personality and gift for making people laugh. At the ceremony, numerous faculty and staff told stories about him and shared fond memories. Er's mother Natalie was present at the ceremony and his family donated some of Er's personal library as well. Er always had a book with him and was always telling people about whatever book he happened to be reading at the time, which is why they chose to name the library after him. He will now be a permanent fixture at the CollegeAmerica campus and will always be remembered fondly.
