AZ Department of Public Safety seeks witnesses, others involved in multi-vehicle collisions on Interstate 40

Names of the two victims who died in one of the pileups released

In reference to the multiple vehicle collisions that occurred on Sunday, March 16 beginning at 12:25 p.m. on Interstate 40 west of Flagstaff, the Arizona Department of Public Safety is releasing the names of two people who died in one of the multiple vehicle pileups.

Shelley Molina 56, of Williams perished in a vehicle located near the beginning, or front end, of one of the major pileups.

Bernard F. Heinrich 77, of Gulf Shores, Ala. perished near the end, or tail section, of the same pileup.

The collisions took place on I-40 around milepost 188 east and westbound. Investigators from the Arizona Department of Public Safety are requesting potential witnesses and those involved in the collisions who have not made contact with DPS to please contact the agency's investigators at the Flagstaff DPS Headquarters.
