NAU seeks Moral Courage Award nominees

Northern Arizona University's (NAU) Martin-Springer Institute, which applies the lessons of the Holocaust to promote moral courage, altruism and tolerance, calls for nominees for its 2008 Moral Courage Awards.

If you know someone who has who has righted a wrong; stood up for social justice, took a stand for the right thing; or advocated for others in the face of opposition; then nominate them for the 2008 Martin-Springer Moral courage Awards. Deadline for nominations is Dec. 15.

Categories include university students, K-12 teachers and students, and community members.

Individuals chosen as demonstrating moral courage will be honored April 3 at an award ceremony located on NAU's Mountain Campus. Winners will receive prizes and certificates.
