Tuba City to host first annual car show and audio contest
TUBA CITY-Ramsey and Cassandra Yazzen, owners of Kate's Café and Coming Soon"Get Reel" movie theater are hosting the first annual car show and audio contest in Tuba City on Saturday June 9. Everyone is welcome to attend. The event will be held at the movie theater parking lot east of Basha's Shopping Center. Admission is $5 and registration begins at 8 a.m. (DST). Categories include: lowrider trucks and cars; underconstruction; lowrider bikes; custom trucks; street trucks; mini trucks; domestics; classics; euro; SUVs and 4x4s. First, second and third place awards will be given in all categories.
There will be musical performances by Yaiva, Rafy J, Illumination, Cuete Yeska, JayNez, A.C. the Promoter, DJ Kiss, DJ Sixkiller, Mr. Blackie, Mr. Just, Shadow, Gwayda and much more. Sponsors for the event are Pepsi and Cavesa's Car Wash of Tuba City.
