U.S. Forest Service to host employment opportunity workshops

The Kaibab and Coconino National Forests will host several workshops and participate in several job fairs in northern Arizona to provide information on applying for forest service jobs. Interested citizens can visit anytime during the workshops to receive guidance and training in applying for Forest Service jobs. Current employees will be available to assist individuals through the online application process. The workshops are intended for anyone interested in applying for forest service jobs. However, to be considered for employment, applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the time they begin work. Workshops will be held at the following times: Flagstaff, today, Feb. 21, from 5 - 8 p.m., at NAU, College of Business Administration, Lab Room 444; Dilcon, Friday, Feb. 23, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., at the Dilcon Chapter House computer lab; Winslow, Feb. 27, from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m., at the Northland Pioneer Community College Learning Center; Flagstaff, Feb. 28, from 9 a.m. - 12 noon, at the American Legion Job Fair, 204 W. Birch Street; Flagstaff, March 7, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., at the NAU Spring Career Fair, at the University Union Fieldhouse.
