Hopi High Coach Ben Willie said the Lady Bruins played much better in this game than the past three games.

"Our offense was working. We got good shots. Our defense was the best part of the game because we played pressure defense and caused a lot of turnovers," he said.

Coach Willie said it was good team defense but credited Chrstal Youvella and Nasafotie with leading the way.

Hopi dominated the rebounding with Nasafotie hauling down 13, Preston grabbing seven and Honie six.

"We did a good job screening out in the first half. We were a bit lax in the second half," Coach Willie said.

He credited 5-8 Nasafotie with holding 6-3 Kirkpatrick to 11 points.
