Volunteer orientation at the Arboretum
Do you want to get down and dirty helping in the gardens?

FLAGSTAFF-The Arboretum at Flagstaff's annual two-part volunteer orientation will take place this Wednesday, April 18 and next Wednesday, April 25 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Staff members will provide background information about the Arboretum's history and mission and will introduce volunteers to the variety of opportunities throughout the facilities. Assistance is needed in the gardens, greenhouse and gift shop as well as during special events such as at the raptor programs and on research projects. Share your passion for the environment and learn about native plants and animals by volunteering at The Arboretum.

Please contact Lyn Stevens at (928) 774-1442 by Monday, April 16 to register for both training sessions. For more information, visit The Arboretum's Web site at www.thearb.org.

The Arboretum is a 200-acre botanical garden, research center, and nature preserve dedicated to educating the public about the plants and plant communities of the Colorado Plateau. It is located four miles south of Route 66 on scenic Woody Mountain Road in West Flagstaff.
