Joseph Wilcox

Holy Rosary for Joseph A. Wilcox, 44, was recited at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Jan. 9. Joe went to rest on Sunday, Jan. 8 after a sudden illness. Joe worked hard as a roofer for Progressive Roofing in Flagstaff. He had a lot of love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, sports, etc...but most of all he loved being with family and friends. Joe lived his life full of love for everyone and everything. He lived everyday to the fullest.

He is survived by his parents, Joe & Elvira Wilcox; son Joseph Stacey; sister Jennifer (Joe) Captain; brothers, Mike (Tina) Wilcox, Mike Tenakhongva; nieces Jasmine & Yasim Captain; nephews, Tony Captain, Mike (M.J.) Wilcox Jr. and Marcos Santibanez all of Winslow; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles & Susie Youvella; paternal grandfather, Joe B. Wilcox, Sr.; uncles, Ted, George and Norman Wilcox, and Arnold Youvella.

Arrangements were under the care of Greer's Mortuary of Winslow.
