Supervisors hear update on county spatial study

Navajo County Purchasing Manager Mary Springer updated the Board of Supervisors on the status of the FM Solutions space study Jan. 3.

The study will help county officials decide how to utilize extra space and figure out what new offices are needed, along with the appropriate office equipment and supplies. A kickoff meeting was held Dec. 14.

"We have already looked at all real estate owned by the county, and accomplished half of the interviews with the head of each department," said Springer.

She added that they would complete the rest of the interviews next week, along with generating a plan to initiate the short and long-term needs of each department.

"I will give monthly updates," said Springer.

Springer mentioned that they are looking into everything individually, and making sure they give an accurate report on the county's needs and goals.
