Loretta Panana

Graveside services for Loretta Panana, 70, were held Dec. 31, 2005, at Sipaulovi Village Cemetery.

Loretta was born April 30, 1935 in Keams Canyon, she was Bear Clan from Sipaulovi. She was a long time employee of The Falcon Restaurant. She was a basket weaver and belonged to the Indian Assembly of God in Winslow, where she was a primary teacher. She loved everyone and was loved by all.

She is survived by her daughter Felicia Panana of Phoenix; sons, Freddie Panana of Winslow, Christino Panana of Second Mesa, Paul Panana of Second Mesa, Joel Panana of Winslow; brothers, Howard Dennis of Kykotsmovi, Nordwell Dennis of Santa Clara, NM; sisters, Lorena Charles of Second Mesa, Jane Dennis of Santa Clara, NM, Frances Ann Francis of Laguna, NM, Sophia Quoshena of Norwalk, CA and Cara Escobedo of Denver, CO.; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Diego Panana; grandson, Isaac Wayne Panana.

Arrangements were under the care of Greer's Mortuary of Winslow
