WJHS softball eliminated from tourney after loss

The Winslow Junior High School eighth grade softball team was eliminated from the White Mountain League Tournament with a 4-3 loss to Joseph City on Oct. 15. That completed the season for the last of the Winslow Junior High School fall sports teams. The seventh grade softball team had ended its season a week earlier after winning the Joseph City Invitational Tournament.

The seventh grade football team ended its season on Oct. 13 with an 18-12 loss to Round Valley Junior High School in a game played at Eagar.

The eighth grade football team also ended its season on Oct. 13 with a loss to Round Valley 33-0 at Winslow.
