Funeral services for Connie Singer, 38, of Birdsprings and Flagstaff, who passed away Nov. 4, were held Nov. 10 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Winslow. Interment followed in Birdsprings.
Connie was born on Feb. 25, 1967 in Winslow to Charley and Marie Singer. She was a graduate of Winslow High School and attended courses at Brigham Young University and an Art Institute College in Orange County, Calif., and Northern Arizona University for three years. She enjoyed writing stories and walking with her dogs.
She is survived by her faithful and loving companion, Art Thompson, her parents Charley and Marie Singer; brothers and sisters Charley Yazzie Singer Jr., Monte Blairo Singer, Constant Lillian Singer, Chelsea Chel Singer; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death be her brother Kirby Art Singer, paternal grandparents Little and Sadie Singer, and maternal grandparents Sam and Mimi Kelley.
Arrangements were under the director of Norvel Owens Mortuary in Winslow.
