Tour Tuba City hospital

National Hospital week is May 9-13. The celebration recognizes the work of hospitals nationwide and promotes greater awareness in the community through public tours and activities. Community members are invited to tour the Tuba City hospital, 1-3 p.m. today (May 11). This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 928-283-2827.

Benefit Social Song & Dance

Kinlani Senior Class is hosting a Benefit Social Song & Dance Saturday, May 14 at the Kaibeto Boarding School in Kaibeto. Registration starts noon DST and the grand entry is at 3 p.m. All group dancers, singers and spectators are welcome. Donations of groceries or other items are appreciated. There will also be food concessions and a cakewalk. Derrick Sloan will be the emcee. The To’Nanees’Dizi Midnighters serve as host drum.

Navajo Tacos

Two Navajo Taco sales in Flagstaff are planned to support the North Country Spirits Basketball Team. The first will be held 9 a.m-3 p.m. Saturday, May 14 at the entrance to Wal-Mart, 2750 S. Woodlands Village Boulevard. The second will be 11 a.m-4 p.m. Sunday, May 15 at the American Legion, 204 W. Birch Street.
