Coalmine bus change

Effective immediately, students that ride Bus 118 will no longer be riding this bus. Bus 103 will take care of all students on the West/East side of the Coalmine Housing between 7:10- 7:15 a.m. and Bus 116 will take care of Hatathlie’s, Hill’s, Nez’s and Wheelers bus stops at 7:10 a.m. In the afternoon bus run, Bus 116 will take Primary and Mid-School students, students from Primary and Mid-School will stay on the bus until they leave Tuba City, which means they will be home at least half an hour later than normal time. Bus 103 will take JHS/HS students. This action is due to a shortage of drivers.

Benefit song and dance

Everyone is welcome to attend a benefit social song and dance to raise funds for Amanda Brown’s overseas tour. Amanda has been accepted as a 2005 People to People Sports Ambassador. Registration for the event will take place at 10 a.m. (MST) at the Tolani Lake gymnasium. Grand Entry will be at noon. Manuel Shirley and Bill McCabe will emcee the event, which will feature food concession, prizes, cakewalk and dancing. District Five Southwestern Singers and Tolani Lake Before/After School Program will sponsor this event. Call TLESA at 928-686-6101 for more information.
