All Star teams begin play this week

Little League 11-12-year-old boys played Monday; 11-year-old girls wait until July 18

The Winslow Little League 11-12-year-old boys' All Star Team began tournament play in Payson on Monday.

Members of that team include Jevon Estelle, Ty Hancock, Payden Zufelt, Aaron Richards, Wendell Carter Jr., Taylor Corum, Frank Cuellar IV, Craig Shirley, Remington Baldwin, Nick Franklin, Mark Oliva and Reinesto Baca.

The 9-10-year-old boys' All Star Team will begin play on Thursday at Flagstaff.

Members of that team include Colton Corum, Tommy Jones, Preston Cake, Isaac Long, Jonathan Oso, Julian Chavez, Mario Gonzales, Mitchel Wouters, Zach Anaya, Samuel Setalla, Jace Hardy and Jonathan Bollin.

The 11-year-old boys' and the 11-12-year-old girls' All Star Teams will begin play on Friday at Page and St. Johns respectively.

Members of the 11-year-old boys' team include Matthew Smith, Tracy Poudrier, Tarryl Lowry, Judd Oso, Richard Avelar Jr., Jacob Fields, Robert Jacquez, Aaron Martin, David Kidd, Chad LaPointe, Christopher Garrett and Nicolas Brown.

Members of the 11-12-year-old girls' team include Gabby Stacey, Mallory Smith, Robin Villanueva, Alex Lomeli, Ivorie Cochran, Melissa Jacobs, Arianna Pipkins, Sabrena Devaleva, Felicia Gonzales and Jodie Panana.

The 9-10-year-old girls' All Star Team will begin play on Saturday at Snowflake.

Members of that team include Rebecca Perez, Halle Hayes, Jacie Cochran, Taylor Hill, Jaleisa Hayes, Searra Hansen, Lexie Edwards, Tamry Ramsey, Verena Ybarra, Serena Stewart, Lauren McCabe and Vanisha Flanagan.

Four Winslow Little League All Star Teams will see their first action on Tuesday. Those teams are the 13-14-year-old boys, the 15-16-year-old boys, the 13-14-year-old girls and the 15-16-year-old girls.

The 13-14-year-old boys will play in Flagstaff. That team includes Anthony Huerta, Dylan Baker, Zach Baldwin, Roman Guzman, Matt Smith, Gilbert Monsegur, Levi Smith, Chris Reyes, Taylor Cake, Sean Pugh and Tom Guzman.

The 15-16-year-old boys will also play in Flagstaff. That team includes Phillip Chambers, Casey Hancock, Taylor Heath, John Gonzales, Victor Martinez, Jordan Echoles, Darius Thomas, Jonathan Beecroft, Kirk Ramsey, R.J. Jacquez and Ray Grabowski.

The 13-14-year-old girls will play in Winslow. That team includes Felicia Nagle, Mariah Guzman, Elaine Conatser, Jennifer Yazzie, Bernice Gover, SheaLynn Hill, Amanda Henrie, Megan Poudrier, Tahlisa Blosser, Gabby Hayes and Alicia Alvarado.

The 15-16-year-old girls will also play in Winslow. That team includes Chanel Renfro, Alicia Flores, Alex Magana, Kayla Draper, Christina Rogers, Jennifer Estudillo, Kaylee Salazar, Quintina Begay, Madison Bolton, Devin Parsons and Charlee Favro.

The 11-year-old girls' All Star Team will not face opposition until July 18 at the state tournament in Phoenix. Members of that team include Haley Hancock, Kelly Pugh, Tatum Charley, Aimee Wong, Alyssa Curley, Tessa Curley, Lauren Parker, Karly Gilbert, Ciara Garcia, Laurissa Vigil, Megan Johnstun, Brittany Williams and Kayla Weishan. Although selected, Vigil suffered a broken wrist and will not be able to play.
