All of this means that will be new buildings to enhance the busy western reservation community with more shopping choices, better office locations and a couple new places to eat.

According to Don Williamson, Project Manager for Chuska-Sahara, the new Tuba City Mini-Strip mall, which is at the corner of Highway 160 and Highway 264, is set to be dedicated in early August. Interior finishing is going on currently during the months of both June and July.

The two story section will house offices spaces such as Social Services, Child Care Service and a TANF Office.

The side by side retail spaces already have confirmed lease agreements with a Subway Sandwich shop, a chiropractor's office and retail entities for five of the 12 available spaces that are next to the two story facility.
