Disabled natives receive help

TUBA CITY -- On July 14, the Assist to Independence office for persons with disabilities held a potluck for a church group from Slidell, La. to thank them for building handicapped accessible ramps in Tuba City and the Village of Moenkopi.
The group has come to the reservation the past three years under the direction of Jerry Hilburn. The crew works closely with Michael Blatchford and Beth Pifer of Assist to Independence in Tuba City.
