Navajo County Sheriffs Report

The following people were booked into the Navajo County Jail recently. These persons are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.

Tuesday, Nov. 22: Johnny Johnson, 55, failure to appear; Alvin Yazzie Dick, 40, failure to appear and probation violation; Vernon Begay, 22, disorderly conduct; Corey Crane, 27, warrant; Christopher Underwood, 33, theft of a means of transportation; and Ruth Keener, 71, warrant.

Wednesday, Nov. 23: Emma Evans, 24, aggravated assault; Bradley Taylor, 23, disorderly conduct; Christopher McKee, 34, disorderly conduct; Matthew Huxhold, 20, criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct; Nathan Slowtalker, 23, contempt of court; Brian Mathew Pickett, 25, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia; Sarah Diana Vasquez, 18, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia; Geradine Alex, 29, possession of dangerous drugs; Harrison Manygoats, 44, failure to appear; Henry Nebitsie, 52, failure to appear; John Hesketh, 40, a warrant; Steve Johnson, 47, a warrant; Shannon Jenkins, 30, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana; Francisco Gastlum, 37, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs; Edwardo Carrascow, 32, providing false information to a law enforcement officer; Lindsey Shaw, 20, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; Tracy Douglas, 38, possession of stolen property, misconduct involving a weapon and a warrant; and Sonny Cody, 23, failure to appear, DUI with a blood alcohol content of .10 percent or more, and extreme DUI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more.

Thursday, Nov. 24: Brandon Dixon, 33, criminal damage and contempt of court; Patricia McCabe, 37, failure to appear; David Duran Texcahua, 37, disorderly conduct; Jorge Manuel Carrillo, 22, a warrant; Colton Pearce, 19, criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct; and Mekala Tomlinson, 49, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Friday, Nov. 25: Leonard Shirley, 51, contempt of court and a warrant; Nathan Michael Sawyer, 28, escape, two counts each of providing false information to a law enforcement officer and custodial interference, and five warrants; Wilbert Yazzie, 50, two warrants; Christopher Kanuho, 34, assault/domestic violence; David Griffin, 55, criminal speed, failure to appear, failure to pay fine and driving on a suspended license; Annette A. Whatcott, 30, a warrant; and Shawn Begay, 24, attempted homicide, child abuse and two counts of aggravated assault/domestic violence.
