Navajo County Sheriff’s Report

The following people were booked into the Navajo County Jail recently. These persons are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.

Wednesday, July 20: Bahe James, 51, criminal trespassing and four warrants; Ferguson Tsosie, 27, criminal trespassing and a warrant; Rafael Rodriguez, 20, assault/domestic violence; Melinda Holtz, 28, warrant; Jeremy Ray Sam, 23, failure to appear; Nathan L. Richardson, 25, failure to register as a sex offender; Braulio Velasquez, 22, possession of drug paraphernalia; Luis Varela-Perez, 27, failure to provide identification to a law enforcement officer; Charles Goodwin, 28, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and misconduct involving a weapon; Jesse Rowe, 26, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and misconduct involving a weapon; Matthew Ulwelling, 23, driving on a suspended license, criminal speed, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs; and Dan Slowtalker, 36, driving on a revoked license.

Press, 42, indecent exposure, child molestation and sexual conduct with a minor; Shannon Craig, 34, false reporting to a law enforcement officer, possession of marijuana and child abuse; James C. Springfield, 21, disorderly conduct/domestic violence, criminal damage/domestic violence and assault/domestic violence; Walter Smith, 41, DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, and extreme DUI; Sherwin Lewis, 24, disorderly conduct and aggravated assault; Altino Spencer, 19, warrant; Robert Freddie, 53, warrant; Calvin Carlisle, 53, theft; Alta Roan, 45, failure to pay fine; Carlos Sierra, 34, fraudulent schemes and identity theft; Steven Wayne Blasdel, 48, disorderly conduct and assault; Maxton B. Friday, July 22: Brandon Queen, 22, threatening and intimidating, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of dangerous drugs for sale; Chad Israel, 32, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana; Dewan Nonnery, 29, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana; Clarissa Yazzie, 25, two counts of aggravated assault; and Steven Barton, 33, assault/domestic violence.
