Demolition is underway to make room for a new $6.5 million two-story Tuba City High School classroom building, slated for completion by January.

Staff, students and the general public should use the west entrance and south entrance to the math hallway for emergency exit only even though it is not barricaded. All should use the interior hallways.

There will be a public meeting to discuss the on-going TC High construction 6 p.m. April 6 at. at Warrior Pavilion. The school district invites the public, parents and concerned community members to come and hear:

• Architectural structure of the new classroom building

• Continued plans for on-going demolition of the older parts of current building

• Plans for present facilities like the swimming pool.

• Impact to school year 2005-06.

Come and learn about the new building and hear about other upcoming plans for additional TC District construction. Call Ron Begay, TCUSD construction manager for details at 928-283-1167.
